School Development Plan 2016/2017

* Raising our teaching within the classroom as “outstanding”.



* Introducing Jolly Phonics as a programme to help the students in English reading from reception to Year 6.



* Developing a family atmosphere at school where everyone feels safe and wanted.



* Making sure we are bully free, self-disciplined, happy and caring and show kindness and make friends.



* Instilling the core values of the school and good morals into our students and giving them a love for the school to become loyal and good citizens.



* Developing our ICT, Music, Art, French and PE curricula to higher levels.



* Making our students proud of their heritage and culture and giving them a love for their country and language.



* Developing our premises and grounds.



* Introducing new technology into the classroom and school like interactive white boards in all classrooms and the use of apps in the classroom.

* Developing leadership in our students by effective use and training of our Student Leaders Council.



* Introducing sponsorship and mutual partnership with other companies that we do business with.



* Making sure all the class and specialist teachers have all the teaching aids and equipment that they need.



* Supplying more books for the library.



* Having sport and cultural competitions with other schools and starting a private schools association in Lesotho and prep schools in Ladybrand.



* Environmental awareness by establishing a vegetable garden in the school for all classes and an effective recycling process.



* Establishing an entrepreneurial course at the school after hours and then as part of the syllabus of the school.



* Building a new EY school in the forest.



* Building more International teachers housing.



* Making Maseru Prep the best school in Lesotho and elsewhere.
